Visual Design: A Part of Content Creation by Sue-Ann Bubacz for writemixforbusiness.com

Presenting Content using Visual Design Enhances it for Your Audience.

Because people’s brains like and remember content presented in a visual design, try giving some extra bang to your content by using visuals.

Creating visual representations, even from written or data-based information will help not only make content “pop” but, will make it more memorable too.

But first. Here’s a shout out to my favorite photographer, Carole Robinson! Thank you for the above photo and so many others I am using and will be using as part of my site design and writing experience.

Carole has a camera (or two or three) with her everywhere, and all the time, since I’ve known her for many, many, many moons. That may just have a lot to do with why her photos are some of the best I’ve seen.

I’m lucky and grateful Carole so generously shares her photography with me. Thank you.

Be One of a Kind

One-of-a-kind photography is always a great visual enhancement and I like using it.

But, try to make pics appropriate and meaningful in their use.  For example, the one I’ve selected for this post that translates to “visuals add sparkle, color, and excitement to your work” or “add some bang to your content” using visuals. It’s also nearly New Year’s Eve:)

I’m embracing the use of other visual components to help effectively craft web writing and business communications. I also continue trying to make them a part of my writing work, as often as possible.

Here are 3 examples of recent visual design works that I’m pleased to showcase.

This piktochart is part of an article called “How and Why Creativity is an Everyday Job in Business.“ And, it premiered as a guest post on Kikolani.com, Kristi Hines’ website for bloggers and freelance writers. Yay!

Marketing is Easy, Straight Up, is my first SlideShare, made in conjunction with a post written and titled the same, along with other works published.

There’s a lot more creative and illustrative and downright visually enticing digital content to come! Besides, I kind of like this little collection to showcase a few projects.

I’ve learned a bunch so far, but have a whole list of things I’d like to try next. Or do better, or experiment with, or integrate into the fun, interesting, and yep, always challenging world of content creation, business web writing, freelancing, marketing, and blogging.

Well, looks like I have a lot to work and I hope you are excited about the New Year, too!
